Since 2017, we have been a part of the official network of examination centres of the Cervantes Institute; we have been an accredited Cervantes centre since 2012 and we have more than 20 years of experience successfully preparing students to take the DELE exam.

What is the DELE exam?

The DELE (Diplomas de Español como Lengua Extranjera) stands for Diplomas of Spanish as a Foreign Language. It is an official qualification (which certifies the holder´s degree of fluency in Spanish), awarded by the Cervantes Institute, on behalf of the Spanish Ministry of Education and Vocational Training.

There are 6 DELE exams of Spanish on offer to adults, in line with the levels of CEFR (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages): A1, A2, B1, B2, C1, C2.

How can I prepare for this exam?

At Hispania, we are specialists in the preparation of the DELE exam and offer 3 courses a year focused on teaching in stages and providing practical, useful and easy tools to students so that they can successfully pass each section of the exam. 

We work in a thorough and personalised way on the most practical parts of the exam, such as the oral and written sections. We also work on familiarising the student with how to complete each test, depending on the level they are taking.

The courses are taught by teachers who are specialised in teaching all levels of Spanish and part of the team are also accredited DELE examiners. 

The course is taught both in person and online and in both cases students receive all the material needed to prepare for the exam.   

How do I register for the DELE exam?

Registration for the exam is done online on the Cervantes Institute website, but at Hispania, escuela de español, we can help you with this if you encounter any problems.   

Where do I take the exam?

Hispania, escuela de español is in the centre of Valencia, very close to the well-known Turia Park and opposite the Jardines del Real. We can see the lungs of Valencia from the windows of our school!

Our main office is located in Calle Cavanilles no. 6 and this is where the DELE exams take place. It is situated in a famous building, which housed Valencia´s journalists.
